I have managed with a dose as low as 12mg/day
I started at 100mg day for several weeks, then, when the drug was clearly working, I dropped to 50 for a couple of weeks, then 25, then 12. it depends on the individual , of course, but there is hysterisis, lots to start, then little to maintain. side ...

I started with 200mg/day for 5 days, then dropped to 100mg for several then continued at 50mg/day for 11 months in total. Now (1/2 tablet in morning/evening). I guess we all vary in uptake, and I have been able to get the full effects with a very small amount. The effect is like a toggle switch ...

Just from taking Androcur for 11 months now, I also have a case of gynecomastia , which needs covering up, a t-shirt doesn't quite cover it !
Does this 'go away' after a time? Looking at gynecomastia web-pages and pictures, surgery seems to make a bigger mess.
