I enjoy both the short stories and the stories with multiple chapters. I tend to write chapter stories because I like to include some insight into the motivation of the characters or the psychological issues involved. That tends to result in longer stories. Is it mere coincidence that this warlord has the same name as the lion (Aslan) in the C. S. Lewis children's book series titled "The Chronicles of Narnia"? C. S. Lewis was an anglican theologian as well as an author. His character, Aslan the lion, was intended to represent Jesus Christ.
