I had my bilateral orchiectomy on April 13, 2006. It was done by a female urologist at the urology surgical center with local anesthetic. Everything went smooth as silk, single centerline incision, the cords were laser cauterized. Had a drain, took antibiiotics for a week. Can't even find the scar ...

She is willing to remove my testicles and scrotum if I wish, as a pre-emptive strike against possible recurrence of prostate cancer. I finally found a urologist that will remove my testicles and scrotum. However, I am curious how the scrotum can be or will be removed so that it is nice and flat and tight. Anyone know how this is done? I'm just concerned that it might turn out looking bad. I don't want to tell the uro how to do it ...

Yes, I have been able to orgasm.
Were they different?
Yes. Since the prostate removal left me impotent, I can only get hard using Muse [urethral suppository]. Then if I masturbate or orgasm, it is totally dry - nothing ...

I had prostate removed in 2000 due to prostate cancer. Looking at possible castration now to reduce odds of recurrence.
