Re: Car electronics

i ran a toyota rav4 for 10 years until i decided to get something else. i wish i'd kept the toyota. apart from gas, tires, brakes and oil that car didn't need anything.

Re: Cars & Trucks & What You Like

i started out my driving career with a 1986 oldsmobile cutless calais. it went from 0 to 60 in about 5 miles. maybe. it was a tank, but somehow it was destroyed in the high school parking lot by a neon driven by a 14 year old who was moving her boyfriend's brother's car as a prank. she ended up ...

Re: Dave craps on a movie THOR: RAGNAROK

i liked thor ragnarok. the storyline wasn't overly complicated and they kept moving along and the action scenes were nicely done. and i was a big fan of the music.

infinity war 1 was not my favorite movie of the year, but i'll save that discussion until after you've seen it.

can't wait to see ...

Re: vaporous entities and musings (in other words - BS)

A high point in the news of this is that CHICK-FIL-A (which normally does not open on Sunday due to religious beliefs -- a known thing) did open their establishment and gave away their food. At least one person had the common sense to do something kind.

our local chick-fil-a is always doing ...

Re: Walking Dead Season 8

i read the comics, have done so since before the first season. used to really love the walking dead. thought the first season was fantastic. but it's steadily going downhill for me. i think this is the second or third season i've missed, hard to keep up with all of the half seasons going on.

Re: The Orville

the first episode is hilarious. after that it settles down into a more traditional star trek series with hope and exploration and boldly going as far as they can without actually being sued by star trek. episode 3 is very relevant to this board. it's about a female baby born to a race of all males ...

Re: The Accountant (2016)

loved this movie. it was one of those that looked like it had an interesting premise in the previews but would either be pure crap or really good, thankfully it turned out to be the latter. i wondered how all of the threads would tie together in the end, and it didn't disappoint - the ending was ...

Re: American Gods (limited series on STARZ)

the american gods series was decent, but i enjoyed the book more than the series. niel gaiman wrote one of my favorite doctor who episodes from the matt smith era, the doctor's wife.
