Off topic, but one thing that has really impressed me in life is the number of couples that stay committed despite the slings and arrows that would have put me off back when I was a physically perfect teenager. Congrats.

Interesting life trajectory, 10 year. So you got cut during your first marriage and your second wife is happy about it. Would it have helped if at some point there had been a kind of formal opportunity to sit down and talk or is it one o those things that had to come about at its own speed?
