Re: Penile Transplant

Wow, 250 amputations a year due to circumcision complications. That's an interesting statistic.

I understand that the circumcisions are a right of passage of Xhosa boys around the age of sixteen. They go to an initiation school for two or three weeks where they learn ancient tribal secrets and ...

Re: "Is the PC Dead?" - CNN report

No, the desktop PC is not dead. Merely that every user who needs one has got one and sales have dropped as a consequence. My own PC started off as a Pentium 486 running on the last version of MS Dos. Version 6.1 I think. Since then everything on it has been replaced at least once including the case ...

Re: Next to last and last symphonies of the season...

Today was the next to last symphony of the Pittsburgh Symphony Season.

1) the WILLIAM TELL OVERTURE

memorable for the extended opening on Cellos and Anne Martindale Williams got the solos. You've heard this sad, amazingly beautiful section of the overture and live it was exquisite. Aside from ...

Re: Tabloid Trash!

After watching that video I have the distinct feeling that life has passed me by. I've never even seen a ufo, yet alone been adbucted by one. No toaster has ever exploded on me either. Not even an out of body experience. The nearest I 've ever got to anything like that was a bloke who claimed his ...

Re: Eunuch Calm

As an outsider I was curious if the issue of Eunuch calm was a myth?

I would been keen to hear anyones opinion.

I would say that you do not have to be a eunuch to be calm. I have always been an unemotional person. The last time I can remember getting really excited was the 1966 World cup ...

Re: A message for Kortpeel

I found one of your stories in the fiction archive and really liked it, so much so in fact I decided to have a go at re-writing it for fun. I have a passion for writing but so far haven't quite got the skill to tackle a whole story of my own, but hopefully that will change soon and I'll be posting ...

Re: The Joy of Keyboards

Hi Mac,

Didn't you have a different keyboard problem a few years back? I seem to remember you were complaing that some of the keys ...

Re: Just As Busy As It Ever Was

Well, I can see this forum is just as smokin' busy as it ever was. Almost makes one think all the effort might have been worth it.

Darn right it is worth it. I feel at home here.

As a comment, this board seems to me the politest place on the web. I've posted what I thought were inocuous ...

Re: Problem with MS Word

That's all well and good...but to get back on-topic...did you fix your problem? You didn't answer any of the questions we asked...???

Thank you Wolf -Pup for getting me back on topic.

The problem is definitely nothing to do with the printer or the printer driver. It is something to do with ...
