Testosterone can do some mean things to a person's mind. If castration reduces such things, then it seems good.
Prison should be for rehabilitation as well as for keeping dangerous people away from society, although some would like to send people to prison as part of a sadistic personal hate for ...

Re: Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome
Intersex conditions are common in people who transition. Although the formation of genitalia and that of gender identity occur at different times in utero, the reason why one might be different from the norm or average might be present at both times--that of a hormonal difference.

Re: E-DAY and T-DAY
What a neat idea. ;)
I usually thought about a birthday for the original one, and then a re-birth day for SRS.
But now that I am reminded, my E-day (with Dr. Spector) was four years ago last month. :D
Now I have another reason to celebrate. 🎂☺️
Thanks! I wish the best for everyones E-day ...

Re: Tracy, CA - could use advice
Hi.
Discussing the issue here would be good. :) Few of us live near Tracy. :(
You have seen that many people here have been through the surgery, and with mainly good success.
For those who cannot meet up, feel free to chat with anyone. This is a big decision.
Hugs,
Kelly

Re: Spiro vs. Androcur
I wish you the best in quitting! 🚬
I used the patches to stop the smoking. But the idea was to stop the nicotine addiction. After a while, I would leave the patch on for two days instead of one, and eventually, I noticed that the patch remained on for a whole week without being changed. At that ...

Re: Spiro vs. Androcur
Hi Kelly
Thanks so much for sharing those links! Particularly, the journal reference. That's the kind of stuff I geek over. That definitely gives me some insight as to how these things are processed and, based on that, I think I'll drop the herbs and see what happens. I may take my Estradiol back ...

Re: Spiro vs. Androcur
Hi Christina!
I'm definitely going for feminization although I'm not seeking full transition. I'm going for a very androgynous look. I'm currently taking 200mg of Spiro and I've just recently dropped my Estrofem from 6 to 4mg. I'm also taking herbal supplements,

Re: Castrating Boys And Adolescents
I cannot comment on castrating boys, but often, people born with male plumbing have a female gender--what we often call transsexual.
Girls born with boy bodies generally know about it long before puberty. From Annie Richards' wonderful page on Treatment of Young MTF Transsexuals:

Re: SRS photo set
That is the same surgeon who performed surgery on me. I wonder if Anna knows that they are posted. I guess that anything on the 'net is fair game.
